Heute haben wir uns in Neustadt von unseren Mitfahrenden verabschiedet und sind seitdem wieder nur zu zweit unterwegs. Doch davor gab’s noch ein Abschiedsessen bei einem erstklassigen Dönnerladen.
Unsere Routenkarte hat uns sehr empfohlen den Donaudurchbruch mit dem Schiff zu passieren. Das ist nicht gerade günstig und deshalb haben wir uns trotz der vielen Warnschilder über beträchtliche Steigung für den “Umweg” auf dem Tandem entschieden. Das war auch ganz in Ordnung, es hat sich nämlich herausgestellt, dass wir schon einiges an steilerer und längerer Steigung bewältigt haben. Das heute war zwar ein bisschen ein anstrengenderer Abschnitt aber die Warnungen finden wir etwas übertrieben.
Unser Zelt haben wir an einem netten Bauernhof-Campingplatz aufgebaut, leider mitten im abendlichen Regenschauer. Jetzt trocknen wir uns wieder, im Unterstand welchen es hier für Radfahrende extra gibt.
Die letzten Tage haben wir die Erfahrung gemacht, das viele Campingplätze in Deutschland über kein WLAN verfügen. Das erschwert nicht nur die Routenplanung sondern auch das Blog schreiben. Wundert euch deshalb nicht, wenn ihr mal ein paar Tage nichts Neues zu lesen habt.
